The only time i can but someone not dieing from a lightsaber stabbing is 1) in a non vital area. 2) hot medical attention 5 sec before stabbing. 3) they have some fom powers to do with healing or keeping you alive long enough to get help. 4) aliens biology. In the clone wars 2d caetoon wobyone gaught an alien that regenerate from being stabbed and cut up. Only killed it cause he forced vlast it from the inside out and even then the tbing came back.

It makes sense why a few of the people that got stabbed by lightsaber survive like Darth Maul my man was cut in half you didn't really lose any vital organs and lightsabers cauterize wounds so he wouldn't bleed out maybe he will bleed internally but he was filled with so much rage and hatred that he managed to survive that makes sense and if you get stabbed in the chest with a lightsaber who's the possibility of survival maybe like a 35% maybe even 40% chance of survival at the most because realistically it would go through an important organ or it would cause internal bleeding but there's still a potential chances survival it's not a 100% chance of death
